The Parade Committee has selected a jungle theme called “Once Upon A Time”. We encourage individuals, businesses, clubs, and organizations to enter a float, vehicle and/or gather a walking group celebrating the theme!

  • Check-In & LineUP

    Parade participants are asked to check in between 8:00 - 9:30 am, and to be in position by 9:45 am. All large vehicles that are in the Parade (i.e., anything larger than a mini-van, such as large vans, buses, trucks, and fire engines) are required to be checked in no later than 9:00 am or forfeit their original parade position and be placed toward the end of the parade. Floats must enter from Vesper.

  • Drop Off & Parking

    Participant drop off zones are located at NW 16th & NW Summit (Zone 1) and NW 22nd & Vesper (Zone 2).

    Zone 1 is for floats #1-35
    Zone 2 is for floats #36-99

    Drop off zones are NO PARKING zones. Please drop off your participants, and continue driving.

    Limited Parking can be found at Thomas Ultican Elementary and St. John LaLande. If parking along streets, please abide by any No Parking signs. All parking is first come, first served.

  • Parade Route

    The Parade will begin at 15th & Vesper, turn East on Main Street, turn North on 10th Street, East on R.D. Mize, ending at St. John LaLande Parish.

    R.D. Mize Road will be closed to thru traffic from 10 am - 12 pm on Saturday, September 16.
