
Parade Participant Information

Check-In & LineUP
Parade participants are to be in position by 9:30 am. All large vehicles and floats are to be in place by 9:00 am. If you are not in position by 9:00 am, you forfeit your original parade position and will be placed toward the end of the parade. Floats must enter the lineup area from the West on from Vesper Street.
Vesper Street WILL BE CLOSED to all traffic after 7:30 am except for parade vehicles and floats.
15th Street WILL BE CLOSED between RD Mize and Walnut Street to all traffic after 8:00 am.

Drop Off & Parking
Participant drop off zones are located at NW 16th & NW Summit (Zone 1) and NW 22nd & Vesper (Zone 2).
Zone 1 is for floats #1-35
Zone 2 is for floats #36-99Drop off zones are NO PARKING zones. Please drop off your participants, and continue driving.
Limited Parking can be found on a first come, first served basis at Thomas Ultican Elementary and St. John LaLande. Free parking will also be available at Blue Springs High School. Anyone choosing to park at the high school will be able to walk to the lineup area via the access bridge behind the high school (~6 minute walk). The bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic, FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY. If parking along streets, please abide by all No Parking signs.

Parade Route
The Parade will begin at 15th & Vesper, turn East on Main Street, turn North on 10th Street, East on R.D. Mize, ending at St. John LaLande Parish.
R.D. Mize Road will be closed to thru traffic from 10am - 12pm on Saturday, September 20.
Quiet Zone
We are pleased to provide a "Quiet Zone" along 10th Street between Summit and Vesper streets, where parade floats will lower their volume out of respect for our noise-sensitive guests.
